Danach kam der erste richtige Gradmesser an diesem Turnier. « D Vogese Rueche» (der spätere, sehr souveräne Turniersieger) waren an diesem Tag eine Nummer zu gross für unsere Old Stars, am Schluss setzt es mit 1:4 auch bei ihnen die erste Niederlage des Turniers ab. Mund abwischen war die Devise! Und so bestritten sie dann auch das dritte Spiel gegen «Hart aber Fair» und gewannen dieses auch sehr souverän 3:0. Nach dem Halbfinal-Einzug von Stainz 05 zogen die Staine Old Stars in ihrer Kategorie also nach. Und auch sie scheiterten sehr unglücklich im Halbfinal, auch sie verloren erst im Penaltyschiessen (5:6). Dass das Team Qualität und Charakter hat, zeigte sich im abschliessenden Spiel um Platz 3, welches die Staine Old Stars souverän mit 5:1 gegen die «Toten Hosen» gewannen.
